This session will introduce the European medical cannabis market, including key patient trends and regulatory developments that have propelled the conversation around cannabis as a therapeutic alternative forward. Particular focus will be devoted to the patient interest in medical cannabis and practical problems faced by pharmacists who are interested to learn more but cautious as to the source of information. The session will also address consequential insights from Canada’s experience and how medical professionals in Europe can apply those learnings to their own approach towards medical cannabis.
